Calculations run on your device

There is no RetrofitROI account and no server-side database of the numbers you enter. A value you type into a tool, such as your electricity rate or your home's square footage, is used only to compute that tool's result in your browser. RetrofitROI does not receive, transmit, or store a copy of it on any server.

How values carry between tools

A small set of values that many tools share, such as your climate zone, your utility rates, or your home's ownership horizon, is saved to your browser's own local storage the first time you enter it, so a different tool that needs the same value does not ask you to retype it. That value stays editable everywhere it appears: changing it on one tool updates it wherever it is reused next. There is no separate account or settings page for this, it is just an ordinary field on whichever tool you are using, marked "from a previous calculator" when it was carried over.

Scenario-specific inputs, such as a contractor quote or a one-time comparison, are not carried between tools. Clearing your browser's site data for RetrofitROI, or using a private browsing window, removes everything saved.

What is never collected

RetrofitROI does not sell, share, or transmit anything you enter to a contractor, a lender, a utility, or any third party. There is no lead-generation form anywhere on the site, and no result is ever adjusted based on a monetization relationship.

Analytics

RetrofitROI uses aggregate, non-advertising analytics to understand which pages and tools are useful. Analytics events record actions such as a calculation completing or a link to another tool, identified only by a tool name, never by the values you entered.

In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics storage defaults to denied and no analytics cookie is set, with no consent banner used as a workaround. Outside those regions, ordinary non-advertising analytics may run. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, RetrofitROI honors it by disabling analytics storage regardless of region. RetrofitROI does not use advertising cookies, remarketing audiences, or ad personalization signals anywhere.

Hosting

The site is served as static files through a content delivery network, which may log routine technical request data, such as an IP address and requested path, for security and reliability purposes, in line with its own operating practices. RetrofitROI does not separately access or repurpose that infrastructure logging.
